Terms & Conditions

1. Who We Are

Kraft Metals is a trading style of Metal Sheets Ltd, based at Arcadia Works, 83 Sefton Lane, Liverpool, L31 8BU. We supply sheet metals and associated cutting services to the public, education, and trade customers.

2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to:

• Retail customers purchasing through our online store.
• Trade clients ordering via quotation, purchase order, or trade account.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Orders

• Online store orders: Standard products and sizes can be purchased directly through our ecommerce checkout.
• Custom or trade orders: Bespoke sizes, trimming, and laser-cut items are supplied by quotation. Orders are accepted once we confirm in writing.

4. Payment

• Retail: We accept card payments and PayPal at checkout.
• Trade: Payment is pro forma unless a credit account or purchase order arrangement has been agreed.

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT until checkout. VAT is applied at the UK rate.

5. Delivery

• Delivery costs are calculated at checkout or confirmed by quotation.
• We use Royal Mail, couriers, or pallet delivery depending on size and weight.
• Delivery times vary depending on stock and cutting requirements, but we aim to dispatch within 1–3 working days for stock items.

6. Cutting Services & Custom Orders

Free trimming: Standard shop items can be guillotine-trimmed to size on request.

Custom sizes: Guillotine-cut or laser-cut items are made to order and priced accordingly.

Tolerances:

• Guillotine cuts — ±1 mm up to 1 m, ±2 mm up to 2 m, and ±3 mm up to 3 m.
• Laser cutting — tolerances vary depending on material thickness.

Non-returnable: Custom-cut, trimmed, laser-cut, or otherwise made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or refunded once cut.

7. Returns & Cancellations

Consumers (retail customers) have a legal right to cancel stock item orders within 14 days of delivery. Returns are not accepted for custom-cut, trimmed, or bespoke items. All returns must be authorised by email before sending. For full details, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

8. Pricing & Quotations

• Prices are subject to change due to metal market fluctuations.
• Quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
• Trade discounts apply to approved accounts and will be confirmed in writing.

9. Liability & Suitability

• It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the correct grade, thickness, and finish of material is ordered.
• Kraft Metals is not liable for losses resulting from misuse, incorrect specification, or late delivery beyond our reasonable control.

10. Trade Accounts

Approved organisations such as schools, colleges, universities, and professional workshops may apply for a trade account. Benefits include discounted pricing, priority service, and flexible ordering. Full details are available on our [Trade Accounts page].

11. Export

Export orders outside the UK may be subject to additional carriage charges, customs duties, or taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
