Our Natural Brass strips are crafted from premium-grade CZ108 brass, a reliable alloy composed of 63% Copper and 37% Zinc. These strips offer unmatched versatility, making them a go-to material for a wide range of applications, from artistic designs to practical uses.

Fabrication:
Our brass strips are half hard, making them excellent for cold forming and shaping. Thin gauges (up to 0.9mm) are particularly flexible, easily cut and shaped with hand tools. They also feature outstanding soldering properties, and we supply tin/silver pre-fluxed solder for reliable joins. Each strip comes with a protective peelable film to minimize marking during fabrication.

Finishing Options:
The brass surface can be left in its natural state for a classic look or refined with scotchbrite pads for a uniform finish. Further treatments such as lacquering or patina application offer the flexibility to customize the appearance to suit specific design needs.

General Information:
Brass has seen a resurgence in popularity, particularly in the 2020s, as both a decorative and functional material. Its durability, corrosion resistance, and timeless aesthetic make it a valuable choice for both contemporary and traditional designs. Known in the UK as CZ108 (Copper Zinc Grade 108), it is also cross-referenced as CuZn37 (European EN-CW508L) or C27400 in the USA.
